HydroDiamond™ is suitable for almost all skin types.  It produces brilliant results by unclogging pores and removing excess sebum, removing blackheads and dead skin cells, shrinking pore size, and hydrating your skin.

HydroDiamond™ provides a relaxing five step process, that will give you smoother, more even skin texture, reduced appearance of fine lines, a more hydrated complexion, minimized pores and oiliness, and more. However, as with most treatments, visible results may vary from person to person.

Most people find HydroDiamond™ to have a relaxing, soothing sensation, while also producing great results.

HydroDiamond™ is a completely non-invasive treatment, using safe, medical-grade equipment to minimise side effects. Side effects are not common, but can include mild effects such as temporary irritation of the skin, redness or tightness, and tingling and stinging in the treatment area.  When these do occur, they typically resolve within 48-72 hours depending on skin sensitivity.

Although I check people’s medical history and conditions carefully during our consultation before any treatments, generally HydroDiamond™ is not suitable if:

• You have cancer, or have been in remission for less than six months

• You have severe nodulocystic (grade 4) acne – the treatment could irritate your skin and spread bacteria

• You are receiving Accutane treatment for acne, or you have done in the last six months – Accutane can thin the skin

• You have an autoimmune disease, lupus, HIV, epilepsy, or hepatitis

• You have diabetes (unless you can provide written approval from your GP) – this can mean your skin takes longer than normal to heal

• You have impetigo – as this is a skin infection, treatment could spread the bacteria and irritate your skin

• You have severe rosacea – this cannot be treated with HydroDiamond

• You have relevant allergies

• You are using blood thinning medication

• You use skin bleaching creams

• You have had Botox, Dysport or other injections or filler in the fourteen days before treatment

• You have had a laser procedure or chemical peel in the fourteen days before treatment

• You received facial waxing in the seven days before treatment (not including eyebrow wax)

• You have used Retin A in the seven days before treatment

• You have a viral Infection, influenza, or cold sore

HydroDiamond™ may not be suitable if you have epilepsy or high or low blood pressure, so we would need to discuss your circumstances.

If you are unsuitable for HydroDiamond™, please get in touch so we can discuss your goals and I can recommend alternative treatments.

If you the following I would need to be careful and avoid affected areas, which could affect the benefits you receive from the treatment:

• Eye infections

• Skin disorders

• Psoriasis

• Keloid scars

• Telangiectasia (broken capillaries)

• Raised moles, warts, skin tags

There are also limitations on the additional treatments offered as part of the silver, gold and platinum options.

Avoid using aggressive exfoliation, waxing and products containing acids in the treatment area for about two weeks before and after the facial treatment.

Do not use Retin-A type products before and after treatment.

After treatment, the skin needs to be protected from UV rays and possible sun damage. Please avoid excessive sun exposure and use at least an SPF 40 sunscreen.
